Ceremonial Cacao
A blessing and an invitation for humanity.
I work with cacao in my offerings as a sacred plant medicine. Years ago I first encountered her beauty and inspiration in Guatemala, on Mayan land at Lago Atitlán. Since then I have been immersed in an intimate relationship with her as guide on my evolutionary journey. Cacao is a gift from earth & sky, a gift from Spirit.
Cacao is a tree medicine, teaching us about the power of giving and receiving nourishment. We too are beings of earth & sky. We too have deep roots in the earth and bodies made of stardust. We, like the cacao tree, have come from small seeds, and the impact we can make on our communities and planet is profound and needed.
Like many plant medicines, cacao has a mission here on earth.
One way I describe it is that cacao is here to support an enlivened state of expansive and grounded Love for humans to re-member ourselves so that we may come back into harmony with all beings once more. Cacao is here to help us re-member Wholeness and Unity while traversing a beautiful landscape of diversity and spiral evolution.
Cacao is a BRIDGE medicine, re-minding us that CONNECTION is the key to healing.
Cacao lovingly invites us to engage consciously in the great web of existence. She encourages us to commune, to take time to touch the sacredness of the present moment with self, community, Divine Presence. Like tree roots in the earth who communicate with the vast underground network of nutrient pathways, mycelium, water currents, etc, we know we are connected with all things.
Cacao invites us to be bridges too.
She invites us to walk between worlds, to bridge any and all separation inside and outside ourselves, to innovate new ways, to weave together the ancient and modern, to be the way-showers, to be the ones we’ve been waiting for. She gives us the bold opportunity to be courageous and loving in our ways. Because the world needs us to show up empowered, compassionate, wise, and attuned to the highest good of all.
Cacao offers us a chance to re-claim true community.
She beckons us to gather like our ancestors did, to reclaim the ways of council and village experience. She asks us to think of ourselves as part of a global family, to understand the roots from where we came and the journey of how we got here, to this now moment.
Cacao encourages us to know her origins and the story of her stewards.
While many of us are now awakened to the sacredness of this plant, cacao has been historically exploited and so have the lands of her origins and the people who have held her sacred for thousands of years. Awareness of colonization and oppression are not separate from cacao’s mission. I believe her presence in our lives asks us to look more deeply at history and invites us to consider how to live the values of sustainability & reciprocity as we consciously engage with her medicine.
Cacao gently opens the door to the field of pure potentiality.
She reminds us that we are beings who can consciously access the realm of the heart as a portal of consciousness. Opening the door to our hearts, we can choose to walk through. Her powerful presence gives us a chance to activate our multi-dimensional hearts. With her we can tap into the power of our body-mind for transformation and dive into the field of pure potentiality to access healing beyond limitations of time & space. If we choose, we can access higher dimensions of consciousness for spiritual evolution.
Cacao is in cahoots with both inner child and higher self.
Cacao is a playful spirit, engaging our curiosity and our inner children to explore and create in a totally wondrous, judgment-free flow state. Cacao writes us a permission slip to be silly and sacred, to be goofy, to try new things, to roll on the floor and make wild sounds if we want! Cacao also communicates with our higher selves and offers immense wisdom from that part of us when we need it. So many layers and dimensions of this sacred plant ally!

CACAO EMBODIMENT JOURNEYS
Dive into a personal, intimate ceremony with the sacred medicine of cacao, guided by Diana. This trauma-informed space is held in integrity with values of compassion, curiosity, consent, authenticity & empowerment. Approximately 90 minutes in length (sometimes more), we will commune with the beautiful spirit of cacao to explore an intention and prayer as we flow with what arises.
Trained in healing arts, embodiment practices & with a shamanic lens, Diana expertly guides your ceremony with various tools such as somatic experiencing, inner parts work, ancestral healing, vocal embodiment, song, drumming, emotional release, authentic movement, breathwork & more. She also offers the opportunity to connect for preparation & integration to create a strong container for your transformation.
